What happens when you die? What is the Total Truth about Heaven and Hell?

What happens when you die?
Let's not guess, let's not accept what we have been taught by man. Let's go to the Holy Scriptures and see what it says happens when we die.

Ecclesiastes 9:5-10 "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."

Ecc. 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." The Bible places NO DIFFERENCE about where you go when you die based upon whether you lived righteous or wickedly. Your eternal fate is decided at the Resurrections and the Great White Throne Judgment. Keep Reading for Proof!

Psalm 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Job 14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more (Resurrections), they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

Psalm 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Isa. 38:18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

What Happened to the wicked and righteous men of the old testament when they died? Did they go to Heaven and be awake and praise GOD in Heaven after their death or did they go to sleep? What happened to the wicked, did they go to hell and scream every day and every night and every second for all these thousands of years since then OR are they asleep. What does the Bible say?

(1 Kings 2:10) So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.

(2 Chronicles 33:20) So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

Isa. 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
:2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

What about the New Testament?
Matt. 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

John 11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (He is PREPARING it. It's not yet ready to be entered by man and not yet entered by man.)
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (Jesus says He will come get us! The Saints that have already died are not yet with Him in Heaven. Jesus must come get us).

Acts 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. (DEAD AND BURIED: NOT walking around eating grapes in Heaven!)

Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Acts 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

1 Cor. 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

1 Cor. 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1 Thes. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

So what the bible really says about death is that your body returns to the earth (grave), and your spirit returns to God! But you do not know or do ANYTHING (Eccles. 9:10) in that state of sleep. That IS what the Bible says! That is where you are (asleep) until Jesus returns and the Resurrections start occurring.

First Resurrection
The 1st Resurrection is the Resurrection of the Saints (those that have been called in this life, heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and accepted that calling and stayed faithful until the death or until the Coming of The LORD). This is a Resurrection to Spirit. 1 Cor. 15.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till (until) the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (This shows that the rest of the people, everyone else who does not take part in the 1st Resurrection WILL BE risen again AFTER the 1000 years)
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death (Romans 6:23) hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Second Resurrection
Rev. 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
:8 And shall go out to deceive (those that just rose in the 2nd Resurrection, see verse 3) the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, (a spiritual title given to rebellious nations, NOT the same as in Ezek. 38) to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
(We see here that during this short season (100 years), Jesus And the Saints are all here on Earth but also is the devil. The devil is allowed to deceive people again. Each physical human being that rose in the 2nd Resurrection will continue to have the choice (freewill) to decide to go with the devil or to go with GOD.)

The 2nd Resurrection is for everyone that did not rise in the first Resurrection. This includes anyone who was not called in the first life OR who never heard the Name of Jesus (Africa, South America, Native American Indians, Chinese, Russians or even Americans who never received the truth), And those who did hear the Name but Never received the Truth or was deceived AND those that died young, 11 year old kids, babies and those murdered in abortion AND for those people who in this life had mental disabilities. The Second Resurrection includes EVERYONE who had not yet been Born Again of both Water Baptism AND The Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. That will include EVERYONE who ever lived before Jesus was born. It will include everyone from old testament times because no one was saved under the old covenant animal sacrifices. ONLY JESUS Sacrifice saves. But the person must know of and accept that sacrifice. Not only must they accept that sacrifice of Jesus Christ but they also must be born again of water baptism by full immersion of water and receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit which is then also sometimes called the Holy Ghost when it is within man.

Matthew 19:28 "And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the REGENERATION when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30 but many that are FIRST SHALL BE LAST AND THE LAST SHALL BE FIRST.

Jesus spoke of another generation. Re-generation= Strong's G3824 - paliggenesia = new birth, reproduction
The disciples would rule with Jesus in a time when there are new births occurring, during another generation. The First shall be last and the last shall be first. What does that mean? It means that the first people called, the prophets of old, everyone in old testament times, will be last into the Kingdom! That is exactly what it means! They will NOT rise in the first resurrection. Some of them may have been great people, they may have known of GOD, they may have even known ABOUT Christ, his human birth and death. But they were UNABLE to be born of His Spirit until after Jesus had sent the Promise of the Holy Ghost, which would STAY/DWELL/ABIDE within mankind. That was impossible before Christ's human birth. Those baptized before Christ came and those baptized under John the baptizer's baptism MUST be be-baptized. Acts 19:1-7 Even John the Baptizer had need to be baptized in JE-sus Name. Matthew 3:14 "But John forbad him, saying, I HAVE NEED to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?" John recognized that he wasn't fully saved before baptism in JE-sus Name. We do not have any record of John being baptized by JE-sus and His disciples. John was the last of the old covenant prophets. He must return in the 2nd resurrection to be baptized of JEsus.

Now, Let's finish reading Matthew. Originally, there were no separation between Matthew 19 and Matthew 20. There were no chapters numbers and verse numbers. So, Jesus continues to speak about this subject and explains about the first shall be last and the last first.

Matthew 20:1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Matthew 20:16 speaks of the same as Matthew 19:30. It ties the two together. Matthew 19:30 is part of the conversation/subject/context of Matthew 19:28 of the re-generation. Jesus has explained that those that were hired first, called first, came first (those of old testament times) will be given the same wages (Eternal Life) but will enter into the Kingdom last. That is because they must be re-birth, that is re-born spiritually. They must accept Jesus crucified, resurrected and glorified. They must enter into that via water baptism which is spiritually partaking of his death and resurrection. They must receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit/Ghost.

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".

It was impossible to be born again during old testament times. Jesus was the first born. He was the firstfruits. He was born again when He got baptized in water.
John 1:31 "And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water".
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

When the Holy Spirit came upon Christ, It didn't just come and leave. It aboded, it stayed. The Holy Spirit did not ascend back upwards. Christ was born again of Water and Spirit. He gave a description of a person who is born again:
John 3:8 "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit".

Then in John 8:14 He gave a description of HIMSELF that perfectly fits the description of someone born again!
"Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go".

Very clearly then, Jesus had been born again. Was He not born as a human? Did He not die as a human? Did He not get baptized as a human? YES, so He must also have been born again, John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". John 3:5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God". Jesus was GOD in the flesh as a human, He was required to be born again before He could have been glorified again.

Some people argue that we are born again when our physical body is turned into Spirit. They are both wrong and correct at the same time. First of all, we are considered spirit, born again/saved immediately upon repentance/conversion/baptism/receipt of The Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9 "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his". However, at the same time, it is also true that Salvation and birth is a process. Salvation/Birthing is continual until the very moment it is completed when we are fully turned to Spirit and no longer have any physical body to dwell in. Matthew 24:13, 1 Cor. 15:21-58. Nevertheless, we are still considered born again and saved at the moment of conception. Life is there at conception. We are a new creation at conception. We are in the process of re-birth immediately and the birthing has begun and we are considered born again already by the Spirit and not by the flesh. We ARE in the Spirit if we are His!
Please read the articles Ye must be Born Again and Salvation, When are we saved?

This Second Resurrection is NOT a second chance but rather it is part of the overall great and complete plan that GOD has. It is the second harvest. There is the First Fruits Harvest represented by the Day of Pentecost and then there is the autumn Harvest represented by the Feast of Tabernacles. The autumn harvest will be a greater harvest. Those that were born again in the new testament time era, will be the first fruits following Christ Jesus.

No one gets a free ticket to Heaven/Fullness of the Kingdom, just because they died young or was mentally disabled. Jesus is THE way into the Kingdom and there is NO OTHER WAY! Jesus is the Doorway. There is NO OTHER DOORWAY!(John 10:1-7) Salvation was never in the blood of goats. Salvation was not available in old covenant times, therefore it's impossible for humans to be in Heaven right now. If babies and mentally disabled people were to get a free ticket to Heaven or into the Kingdom, then there would be MILLIONS of people in the Kingdom who never learned any lessons (tried and tested) and never accepted Jesus as Saviour!
Everyone will get their chance to accept Christ as Savior and have a good mind to do so with as well as the time to do so. This is a resurrection to Physical flesh and blood. Ezek. 37

Matthew 25 Proves Some People Will Get Saved in Second Resurrection
Matt.25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
(People assume that verse 31 is speaking about the very day that Jesus comes to Earth. But if you look at the context of the previous verse and of the entire chapter and of the entire bible outline of events including the book of Revelation, then you come to understand that Judgment Day (Great White Throne Judgment) is after the short season of 100 years, which is after the 1000 years. Verse 31 is worded the way it is because 1000 years is as one day to THE LORD and to make us search and study Scripture).
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
(There is NO separation on the left and right on the very day of Christ Return. There is no Scripture to compare with this verse that would lead you to believe that the separation between left and right occurs on the day of His Arrival. All comparative Scriptures indicate that the separation between the wheat and the chaff occurs at the very end of this Earth when it's cast into the Lake of Fire, GOD's Presence, and the wicked finally destroyed).
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Therefore in Matthew 25, we see that in this second Resurrection Judgment, The Great White Throne Judgment Day, after 100 years, that there will be people who DID get Saved during that time, who had NOT been in the First Resurrection but who inherit eternal life at the moment that the wicked will be cast into the Lake of Fire at the moment of transition from this Earth to the New Earth.

1 Cor.5:5 Proves people get saved in the 100 years after the Second Resurrection
1 Cor.5:5 "To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus".
Paul is talking about a man who was committing the immorality (fornication) of having sex with his dad's wife in verse one. The context shows that Paul was going to disfellowship/excommunicate this man from the church. By putting this man out of the church, Paul was effectively delivering the man over to satan, resulting in death in this life. But the man would hopefully be saved in the next life (the 100 years). This verse PROVES that it is possible for a person to die in their sins and yet still be saved in the future.

Now, Let's Get Back to The book of Revelation concerning that Second Resurrection:
:9 And they (those that decide to go with the devil) went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (we will do a study on the words "for ever" in just a few minutes.)

At the End of the 100 Years:
Great White Throne Judgment:

:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
:12 And I saw the dead (those that rose in the second resurrection of Verse 5), small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (This is the Great White Throne Judgment of Matthew 25:31-46)

Let's review what just happened. At the end of the 100 years/short season, there is a battle attempt. NOT a real war. The devil convinces the deceived people (humans who are able to be devoured by fire) to try to overthrow the Kingdom of GOD, just as the devil also convinced 1/3 of the angels to try to overthrow the Kingdom of GOD before the 6-7 day re-creation period of Genesis 1. So anyway, at the end of the 100 years, these deceived people are destroyed. They do NOT live forever in fire. This is the Second Death. Eternal Death is the opposite of Eternal Life. Romans 6:23. You either Live or Die. One or the other, NOT both. The Saints Live and the Wicked die. As we see in Pslams 37. But those people who do decide to go with GOD, they will be turned into Spirit as were the original Saints and they too will receive Eternal Life and inherit the Earth and the Universe, but NOT Heaven. Now in Rev. 20:13-15 we will Review what just happened in verses 7-12.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell (greek word Hades which means the grave) delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
(This is saying that at the 2nd Resurrection, everyone is risen from their graves and then eventually they do come to the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of the second season / short season / second life.)
:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death (Romans 6:23).
:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now i must ask you, WHERE did these people come from? Did they come from Heaven and/or a burning Hell to be judged? Had they already been judged to go to Heaven or Hell and then be brought back from those judgments for re-trial? NO. They came up from the grave, even from the sea. Those that died on the Titanic will come up from the Titanic, from the sea, to finish their 100 years and be Judged.

Proof of Short Season being 100 years
Isa. 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
(This is referring to Rev. 20:11 and all of Rev. 21/22.)
Isa. 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Isa. 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
(Was still referring to Rev.21/22, NO more crying, and we also know NO more death. Rev. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away).
Isa. 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed (cut off/destroyed).

WHAT? Why is it talking about sinners and death?
In verse 20, it is talking about the period leading up to the beginning of this New Earth. The reason there will be no pain, no crying and no death in the New Earth is because ALL sinners would have been removed leading up to this point. Verse 20 is talking about the Short Season which starts at the moment of the Second Resurrection. In NO OTHER TIME IN ALL OF HISTORY has the human race been given a PROMISE that they will NOT die before 100 years old EVEN if they sin! Wow! Did you get that?

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days

They both fill their days. They both live 100 years! They both also END their physical life at the end of the 100 years!

the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed

Does GOD give some people 100 years to repent and others only just 21 years and others just a few hours on Earth and then others 13 years and 55 years and 93 years? NO. Everyone that rises in the second Resurrection, gets that final 100 years to make it right! What about those that lived more than 100 years in the first life? What if they lived to be 103? OR what about those that lived to be 1000 yrs old in the old testament times?
If they were never born again, saved, baptized and Holy Spirit filled and perfected/purified, REGARDLESS OF AGE, they will rise in the second Resurrection and live for 100 years in that re-generation. Then Judged at the White Throne Judgment at the end of the 100 years.

Now this does NOT mean that you can sin all you want in this first life and think you can just make it right in the next life! When you sin in this life, there are physical, mental, emotional and spiritually consequences in this life AND in the life to come! What goes around, comes around. You WILL be Judged according to EVERYTHING you have done! Also, you need to pray to escape the Wrath of GOD that is about to come soon to the inhabitants of this Earth! It is a Fearful thing to fall under the Wrath of GOD! We want to attain to the First Resurrection which is the Better Resurrection (Hebrews 11:35) in which the second death hath no power (Rev.20:6). It is impossible for those who are risen in the first Resurrection to die. They have attained. They have finished their course and crossed the finish line. If you rise in the 2nd Resurrection, you have no promise that you will inherit eternal life. You might make it and you might not. You should not rely on the 2nd R, as if you did not make it in the 1st life, then you might also not make it in the 2nd life. It is very important that we try our best to make it in the 1st R, wherein is the Promise of Eternal Life. We need Salvation NOW, with which comes Peace, Joy, Comfort and Strength. Don't put off until tomorrow what you can have today!

The Rewards of the Righteous and of the Wicked
Malach 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Psalms 37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Why does it say the fire shall not be quenched?
Because the fire will not be quenched, that is to say it will not be put out, it will burn until there is nothing left to burn and will go out on its own! No one will put it out, it will burn until all the wicked is consumed away into smoke and nothing of them is left, neither root nor branch!

What happens to the righteous?
Matt. 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

If we will live forever in Heaven, then why does the new Jerusalem come down to the Earth instead of us going up there to it? If you think your eternal home is going to be Heaven, you're going to be aweful lonely there because the scriptures are clear that BOTH Jesus and the New Jerusalem will be on Earth!
Rev. 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Rev. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

What about the man on the cross in Luke 23:43 and Jesus said to him, Today you will be with me in Paradise?
Read that again my friend. IN the original writings, there was NOT a comma. So if the comma was inserted in the wrong place, it could make all the difference in the world. Read it like this: "Verily I say unto you today (right now), You shall be (will be) with me in Paradise."

Bullinger's Companion Bible notes says; "I Say unto thee to day". "To day. Connect this with "I Say", to emphasize the solemnity of the occasion; not with "shalt thou be". See the Hebrasim in note on Deut. 4:26. .....Punctuation also as we have it to-day is entirely absent... The text reads on without any divisions between letters or words until MSS. of the ninth century...when there is seen for the first time a single point which separates each word. None of our modern marks of punctuation are found until the ninth century and then only in the Latin versions and some cursives. ...From this it will be seen that the punctuation of all modern editions of the Greek text and of all versions made from it, rests entirely on human authority and has not weight whatever in determining or even influencing the interpretation of a single passage. ...

Is there another verse in the bible that tells us whether or not that man did go to Paradise THAT day? YES!!! He did NOT go that day AND neither did Jesus that day!!! Notice: John 20:17 "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."
Wow, this was AFTER the resurrection and Jesus basically says that HE had not yet been to Heaven during the 3 days and 3 nights that He was in the tomb of the earth. If Jesus had not yet gone to Paradise, then neither did the the other man on the cross!!! The man WILL BE with Him in Paradise at the 1st Resurrection. And didn't Jesus say that HE WOULD be IN the belly of the earth for the entire 3 days and 3 nights as the sign of who He is?!?! Matthew 12:40 "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth". Jesus was in the earth (grave) all 3 nights and all 3 days! He did not go to a burning hell nor did He go to Heaven in those 3 days. He was in the grave ALL 3 days and ALL 3 nights!

Some people contend that "paradise" refers to a layer of hell, the upper portion of Hades.
That was the Babylonian belief, later transferred to Greeks, then later to the Pharisees, then later on this Bablylonian doctrine was transferred to the Catholics.
NEVER does the Bible say there are layers of hell nor that Jesus did anything during his 3 days and 3 nights of sleep. Bullinger's Bible explains that paradise is a garden with trees. (NOT underground, NOT in the grave/Hades. There is NO garden inside Hades). It then explains, that the Paradise of Luke 23:43 is the Fullness of the Future Kingdom of GOD (when the entire Earth will be the Garden of Eden Rev. 2:7, 22:1-2). Jesus was telling the man on the Cross, basically, Thou SHALL BE with me in the Fullness of the Kingdom upon the Newly remodeled Earth after the White Throne Judgment.
Rev. 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God
Rev. 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Righteous/Loving Judgment:
As far as hell goes, We Know GOD is the most righteous Judge of all time of course. What if an unrepentant person killed someone 5,000 years ago and went to a burning hell when they died? Then Adolf Hitler comes along and kills millions of people and dies and he goes to hell. Then the man who killed only 1 person burns 5,000 years longer than Hitler?!!! Oh come on people, The Gospel is Simple. Let us use some common sense and all the bible scriptures. The Bible is very very clear on this matter. You just have to let go of the false teachings you have always accepted. GOD is truly Just and righteous and will judge and punish Fairly. This is NOT to minimize in ANY way the fate of the wicked, they will still burn but they will also be put out of their misery! God loves even the most wicked sinner and will punish them righteously and lovingly by removing them as the bible teaches in many many very clear scriptures.

Psalm 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Common Sense in the Account of Lazarus of John 11
In John 11, Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus had been dead for 4 days! When Lazarus rose from the dead, he walked out of the tomb. Where had Lazarus been for those 4 days? Was he in hell? Was he in Heaven? If he was in a burning hell fire then surely Jesus would not have brought him back in order to be thinking about that torture for the rest of his days! That would be an awful life to live! AND IF he had been in Heaven, Would Jesus deny Lazarus of his rewards? Would Jesus pull this man out of paradise and make him live on this old earth again after getting such a good 4 day taste of paradise? That would not be very kind of Jesus to do such! Of course Lazarus was neither in a burning hell NOR was he in Heaven. He was simply asleep in the grave. Thus, His resurrection was a good thing!
I have a more detailed explanation of the story of Lazarus & the rich man further down the page.

The English Word "Hell":
The word "hell" is a English Word. The prophets and apostles NEVER heard this English word! The spoke Hebrew, Greek and Arabic.
Old Testament (Hebrew) for "hell" is H7585 shĕ'owl sheh·ōle' = the grave or a pit. This word SHEOL always means the grave so that when we come across the word “hell” in the Old Testament it ALWAYS means the grave. For example: “The sorrows of hell compassed me about, the snares of death prevented me” (2 Samuel 22:6). David in this verse is speaking about his narrow escape from death.
And Jonah: “I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice” (Jonah 2:2). Jonah was in the whale’s belly, NOT a burning hell.

New Testament (Greek) for "hell" is THREE DIFFERENT WORDS!
G86 hadēs hä'-dās = the grave. This means exactly the same as the Hebrew word SHEOL i.e. the grave. It is found 11 times and is translated “hell” 10 times and “grave” once.
G1067 geenna ge'-en-nä = Valley of Hinnom, Jer. 7:22, which was burning in Jesus Day, But is NOT burning today.
G5020 tartaroō tär-tä-ro'-ō = This word is used only in 2 Peter 2:4 and refers to the place for the fallen angels, not man.

Denying the Mercy of GOD

The ideal/theory/teaching of a ever burning hell where you never never die is a lie from the devil to deny the mercy of God! And I have proven it here. Yes, some wicked people will burn in hell. Yes that is biblical. But let us remember that the Bible is written in the English language today and that it was originally written in Hebrew and Greek. "Hell" is an old English word which means "a hole in the ground" or "grave". But when Jesus spoke of a burning hell in the Greek scriptures, He used the word "Gehenna". At the time, Gehenna or the Valley of Hinnom was on fire. It was where all of Jerusalem burned their trash. But that place is no longer burning at the current time!

Here is a picture of Gehenna today!

One Hundred years after the 2nd resurrection, Gehenna, the Valley of Hinnom and the entire earth SURFACE will be burned to destroy the wicked. And the wicked will be destroyed eternally. That is to say that they will die. That is to say that their punishment will be everlasting as in final. They will not live forever in that fire because the fire will go out on its own when everything is devoured. Then God will renew the surface, that is what is meant by a new earth. This earth will not disappear and another one pop up some wheres else in the universe! The Bible says the earth will abide forever!
Yes, the Bible teaches 2 resurrections! Most churches only teach one.
God's plan of salvation and his mercy is so great and awesome that only a relatively few people will ever get to be cast into the lake of fire. He is not willing that any would perish but that all would be saved. But some will perish because of their out-right refusal to obey Him.

Jesus did NOT go to a burning hell!
Many ministers, churches, denominations teach that when Jesus died, He went to a burning hell! What could be more absurd! These same people say He also went to Heaven when He died. They are basically saying that Jesus traveled back and forth! They also say that Jesus wrestled with the devil and took the keys of death and hell away from the devil! How ridiculously! LOL!!!!!!
I want you to LOOK in the Bible! Search for the words "wrestled, wrestling, wrestle, fight, fought, fit, fighting, key, keys, death and hell". You will NOT find ANY such story/account in the entire Bible! In fact, you will NEVER find any wheres in the Bible that even says that the devil at any time ever had the keys to death, hell or the grave! When Jesus died on the Cross, His work was accomplished! It was done! He did NOT NEED to fight anyone! Where people get this ridiculous story is from twisting the words and context of Acts chapter 2. Acts 2 proves that Jesus went to the Grave! NOT a burning hell. People need to realize that the Greek Word for Hell in Acts 2 is Hades which means the Grave, NOT Gehenna. Gehenna refers to a burning place, NOT Hades! Acts 2 also proves that King David did NOT go to Heaven! He is still buried!

Matt. 12:40 "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth".
Jesus was in the Grave/Hades (NOT a burning hell) for ALL 3 days and all 3 nights! A full 72 hours! He did not travel back and forth those 3 days!

Words NOT found in the Bible:
"you will live forever in hell without ever dying"
"when you die you go to heaven or hell"
"the reward of the wicked is everlasting life"
"the wages of sin is everlasting life"
"the meek shall inherit heaven"
"you shall reign in heaven"
"you shall live in heaven"

-Examples where "eternal", "everlasting" and "for ever" DO NOT MEAN the same in English:
Jer. 17:4 "And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
:27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched".
Is Jerusalem still burning today? NO!

Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire".
The towns of Sodom and Gomorrha were sit on ETERNAL Fire BUT those fires ARE NOT burning today! If so, where? You say in Hell. But this verse is talking about the CITIES!!! NOT the people. Plus there is no scripture that proves a fire in burning ANYWHERE today! The Hebrew and Greek for "Eternal" and "for ever" do not mean the same in English as in their original writings. The Hebrew and Greek words actually mean "AGE" or "until completeness" or "to the fullness" or "not cut short".

Eph. 1:21 "Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come"
The Greek Word for "world" in this verse is G165 "aiōn". This is the same word translated "ever" 71 times, world 38 times, never + 3364 + 1519 + 3588 6, evermore 4, age 2, eternal 2, misc 5. We see in Eph. 1:21 that it is talking about a TEMPORARY world, therefore is it incorrect to say that the Greek word "aion" or English words "forever", "everlasting" or "eternal" always means the same as we have been taught in English.
In the Old Testament, A servant who desired to stay with his master, was to serve him "forever [olam]." (See Ex. 21:1-6.) How could a servant serve a master to endless time? Will there be masters and servants in the world to come? Jonah, describing his watery experience, said, "The earth with her bars was about me forever [olam]." Jonah 2:6. Yet this "forever" was only "three days and three nights" long. Jonah 1:17.

Liddell and Scott's Greek Lexicon gives the following as the meanings of aion:
"A space or period of time, especially a lifetime, life. ... Also one's time of life, age: the age of man. ... 2. A long space of time, eternity. ... 3. Later, a space of time clearly defined and marked out, an era, age ... this present life, this world."

Adam Clark, in commenting on Gehazi's leprosy (2 Kings 5:27), remarks:
"The forever implies as long as any of his [Gehazi's] posterity should remain. This is the import of the word le-olam. It takes in the whole extent or duration of the thing to which it is applied. The forever of Gehazi was till his posterity became extinct."

Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (Greek 165 "aion")
Matt. 25:41 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting (Greek166 "aions" basically the same word in Matt. 24:3 which shows that this word does NOT always apply to something without end) fire, prepared for the devil and his angels"
Colossians 1:26 "Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages (Greek165 "aion" Same as in Matt. 24:3) and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints"
Has the Mystery of the GOD ALWAYS been hidden from all eternity. No. There is a END to the hiding. It has been Revealed. The words Aion and Aions does NOT mean for all of eternity!

Exactly What Is The Lake Of Fire? What is the source of the fire? Should we be baptized with fire?
John said "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire". Matthew 3:11

Most people think that is a good thing and that we should seek to be baptized with fire. But they need to read the whole context!

4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

John was speaking to sinful people and the whole context of his statement was one of condemnation and warning! "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" meant that GOD would consume them in the Lake of Fire! The reason that the Holy Spirit was connected with the Lake of Fire is because GOD IS THE LAKE OF FIRE! Deut. 4:24, 9:3 Exodus 3:2, 13:21, 24:17. Isa.30:27, 33:14. Hebrews 12:29 Rev.19:20 and 2 Thes.2:8
The wicked cannot live in the presence of GOD. GOD is a consuming fire. It is the very presence of THE HOLY SPIRIT/GOD who will baptize the wicked in the LAKE of Fire. Baptism of Fire is NOT good! Yes on the day of Pentecost, they saw tongues of Fire. But they were NOT baptized with fire!

So once we understand that GOD is The Lake of Fire, then we come to understand that although the fire is eternal, He consumes the wicked and the wicked will perish. The lake of Fire is not a place underground where the devil rules. That is just pagan mythology.

Objections:

If you have any verses that you think PROVE that we do go to Heaven WHEN WE DIE or that we will live forever in Heaven or that the wicked do burn forever in fire without dying, please use the contact form and we will add them to this page with the answers. Thanks.

Objection: 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

ANSWER: This verse says we shall be forever with the Lord. It does NOT say we will be with Him forever in Heaven. Where will Jesus Be?
Zech. 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Rev. 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Also read Rev. 21 and 22 to see that Jesus will be right here on Earth. We will be with Him on the Earth!

-Objection: 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
ANSWER: Like it says in Eccles. 12:7, when we die, our spirits return to GOD. Everyone's spirit goes back to GOD. But GOD is EVERYWHERE ALL PLACES AT ALL TIMES. But our spirits will be asleep! Until we awake in the Resurrections. When we are asleep, we do not know ANYTHING and we will NOT know that we are with GOD, until we awake to be judged and sentenced either to eternal death or eternal life.
AND actually this passage in 2 Corinthians 5:8 is NOT talking about where we go as soon as we die. But rather the eventual reward of the saints. See context vs. 1-10.

-Objection: 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
ANSWER: It is not talking about us living forever in Heaven. It is talking about us eventually putting on immortality (vs. 4).

Objection: Rev. 7:9-17 People who have been thru the Great Tribulation are shown in Heaven.
ANSWER: Let's Read that: Revelation 7:9-17:
9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. (Compare: Rev. 21:3; And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.)
16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. (Compare: Rev. 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Rev. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.)
17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Compare: Rev. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.)

It is clear from the comparisons of Rev. 7 and Rev. 21 that the context is that this Great Multitude has come out of the Great Tribulation and is at the Throne of GOD on Earth AFTER all things are completely fulfilled and NOT in Heaven.

-Objection: The soul is eternal/immortal.
ANSWER: That is the lie of the devil! The serpent said "you will not die"!

What the scriptures say: Matt. 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell"!

That that are teaching that people live forever in Hell fire & are NEVER destroyed, they are preaching 100% opposite of the Words of Christ!

ONLY GOD is immortal!
1 Tim. 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
:16 Who only hath (the only one that has) immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: (we can only see a manifestation of Him, such as in the burning bush even though all of GOD was not in the bush, OR like Jesus as a manifestation of GOD in the Flesh but not all of GOD was in the Flesh, the Father was still in Heaven) to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen.

-Objection: Matt. 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal".
Yes, that is correct! When the unrepentant wicked get cast into the Gehenna Lake of Fire at the end of the short season, 100 years, their punishment will be everlasting because they will die. Their death will be final. Their punishment, death, will last forever, they will never again be resurrected.

-Objection: 2 Thes. 1:9 "Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power"
Their destruction will be everlasting. Once they are destroyed, they will never again be renewed.

-Objection: Matt. 18:8 "Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting (Greek 166 aiōnios) fire"
The effects of the Gehenna Fire (Lake of Fire) will be everlasting. The people will burn up says Malachi 4. The people will die and never be brought back to life therefore the effects of the fire is everlasting. The fire itself is also everlasting in that it is not quenched, that is to say, it is not put out before it's time. It last until it has completed it's job, to the fullness of it's term.

-Objection: Rev. 14:11 "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name".
The words "for ever and ever" in this verse are associated with the SMOKE, and is NOT associated with how long the person themselves stay in the Lake of Fire. In fact, this verse does not even apply to the lake of fire! But rather it is talking about the 45 day Wrath of GOD that leads up to and including the battle of Armed at Meggido. See vs. 10 to see that it is talking about this torment occurring during the Wrath of GOD! Rev. 14:10 "The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb". Therefore it is saying that during the 45 day Wrath of GOD, the unrepentant wicked who have received the mark of the beast, those people will be tormented day and night, without rest until they are destroyed at the battle of armed at Meggido and the feast of raptor birds. The smoke is associated with their cries and pains and will forever ascend up for as long as this condition persist. Please see the study above on the words "forever" and "eternal".

-Objection: Rev. 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever".
Read it again, it is talking about the devil and the beast and the false prophet, NOT about normal everyday humans! Plus we can again ask ourselves "what does Forever mean?".

-Objection: Matt. 3:12 "Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire"
Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched"
The fire is unquenchable, that is to say, no person can put this fire out! The Eternal Fire Of GOD will completely consume the wicked and there be nothing left of the person to burn. No one can quench The Fire Of GOD, but the wicked will perish and not burn forever.

Objection: John 5:29 "And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation".
The Greek word for damnation in this verse is G2920 krisis and means "a trial" or "judgment". It is the same word in John 5:22 and was translated "Judgment"! Verse 29 is NOT saying it is a resurrection to burning forever in hell fire. It means to be judged. That is what we see occurring in Matt. 25:31-46 And Rev. 20:7-15 is that the people are resurrected in the second resurrection, then given a short season (100yrs) and then at the end of the short season, they are all separated on the left and right at the Great White Throne Judgment. Those on the right will inherit eternal life. Those on the left, the goats, will receive eternal death, the second death by fire and consume away into smoke and be no more, Psalm 37 and Malachi 4.

Objection: The Eternal Worm Theory:
Mark 9:44, 46 "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched".
Isa. 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses (corpse/DEAD BODIES) of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Okay, if the worm NEVER dies, then the worm is Eternal! Wow, wouldn't that be something! We have already learned that men are NOT eternal, they CAN die. GOD CAN destroy BOTH their soul AND body in Hell (Gehenna)/Lake of Fire. Matt.10:28. But yet this worm never dies? What kind of worm is this? What is it feeding upon? It is feeding upon the dead flesh of a sinner. NOT his soul! It's feeding upon a physical human being who is being punished and cut off from this Earth. It is a maggot! What happens to maggots? They do NOT die!
FACT: Maggots do NOT Die! They never die UNLESS you happen to come across them in time to destroy them before they get the chance to turn into flies, but usually even then, people usually do not kill the maggots! Usually people just throw away the diseased, infested product. The maggots usually end up in the local dump yard OR turn into flies even before you ever knew the maggots were there! Maggots do not usually die, Rather, They turn into Flies! The person that is thrown into the fire continues to exist long enough (10-14 days. Isa. 66:24 shows there is enough time for the Saints to look upon the carcasses/dead bodies of the wicked) for maggots to eat at their flesh and for the maggots to turn to flies, then eventually there is nothing left for the worms/flies to eat because the fire was never quenched, no one put out the fire, it burns and consumes the wicked and there is nothing left but ashes. Malachi 4. Psalm 37:20.

Objection:

Answer: These are explained in detail concerning the 45 day Wrath of GOD. Please click here to read the article concerning that short time period when YES, the Saints WILL be in Heaven for the Marriage Supper and then they return to Earth with Jesus.

In conclusion, Gods plan is much better than anything man can come up with. I'd rather be a king and priest for God on earth rather than sitting around on a cloud in Heaven doing nothing while my brothers and sisters are screaming and yelling burning in hell for ever and ever. Praise God for HIS plans and not ours!

I know the churches and people have taught you something much differently! You owe it to yourself to actually read the Bible and fast and pray about this! DO NOT IGNORE all the verses that have been listed on this article!!! You cannot deny the FULL WORD OF GOD!

Objection;
Matthew 17 , the mount of Transfiguration, did not Moses already rise in heaven??
Answer: The account of the transfiguration was a VISION. Peter, James and John saw a VISION that represented the future resurrection, the first resurrection. They did not see Moses or Elijah in Heaven but rather on Earth during a future time. Start reading in Matthew 16:21 and read to Matthew 17:13. Then read 2 Peter 1:12-18. Notice in Matt. 16:28 "...see the Son of man coming in his kingdom"!
Notice in Matt. 17:9 "...THE VISION...".
Peter was among the three that shared this vision. He writes what he learned from it in 2 Peter 1:12-18.
Notice 2 Peter 1:14 "knowing that shortly i must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me"! Remember the reference to "tabernacles" in Matt.17:4.
Was it really just a VISION and not something seen with physically eyes?
Let's study the word "vision" of Matt. 17:9.
Strong's Number Greek#3705 "horama", which occurs 12 times in 12 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV. It is used 11 times in Acts and once in Matt.17:9.
The word is never used for anything other than the super(GOD)natural. It is clearly a VISION, not something just seen. Moses and Elijah did not physically appear on the mount. They did not come down from Heaven nor up from the grave. It's a vision of the future. Recommended reading on this and on Elijah and Enoch at www.ecclesia.org/truth/enoch.html

Objection: Where was Abraham when he talked to the man in hell found in Luke 16, Lazarus and the rich man?
ANSWER: The story of Lazarus and the rich man is NOT an actual event. It is NOT literal. Neither is it a parable.
It is actually a well known ancient fable on which the Pharisees based their own false doctrines.
Christ was using their own false traditions against them. Let's take a close study of this story:

14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
(NOTICE that Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees. This is very important! Jesus was NOT speaking to the disciples or any of his followers!)
16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
(Notice verse 31 of Moses {the law} and the Prophets! Everyone leaves out verse 14-18, but they are part of this address to the Pharisees)
17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
(the pharisees were making void the law and the prophets by their talmudic traditions, concerning divorce and concerning the state of the dead)
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
(Notice here first, "carried by angels". The Pharisees taught that the dead were carried by angels. That is NOT Biblical Teaching! No where does the Bible teach that the dead are carried by angels into heaven or hell. When we die, our souls go immediately to GOD, who is everywhere, without assistance from the angels. Then, We rise in the Resurrections. We are not carried by angels at the Resurrection nor at the time of death. But the Pharisees had Babylonian oral traditions known as the Talmud. These were evil false teachings that contradicted the Holy Scriptures. Among their false teachings, they taught that the dead were carried into Abraham's Bosom, Paradise, under the Throne of Grace or into Hell. No where does the Bible teach a place called "Abraham's Bosom". It was a doctrine of the Babylonian Talmudist!)
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
(Again, no where does the Bible teach that people in hell can see people in heaven. This was a doctrine of the evil Talmudic Pharisees! Jesus is not teaching such a doctrine here. He is using their own false doctrine against them. The Pharisees taught that people in hell and people in Abraham's Bosom could see each other and talk to each other! What kind of heaven would that be? Not a very good heaven if people in hell could talk to you! Not a very good heaven if you could see people in hell!)
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
(In the Talmud, there was a story that goes, "There was a good man and a wicked man that died. As for the good man, he had no funeral rites solemnized, but the wicked man had. Afterward, there was one saw in his dream the good man walking in gardens, and hard by pleasant springs: but the wicked man with his tongue trickling drop by drop at the bank of a river, endeavouring to touch the water, but he could not".
Sound familiar? It should! It's the story of Lazarus and the rich man!!!!!!!!!! Wow! Yes, Jesus was using the Pharisee's own stories against them!)

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
(There was a parable of the Talmudist that says "there are wicked men that are coupled together in this world. But one of them repents before death, the other doth not: so the one is found standing in the assembly of the just; the other, in the assembly of the wicked. The one seeth the other and saith, "Woe! and alas! here is accepting of persons in this thing; he and I robbed together, committed murder together; and now he stands in the congregation of the just, and I, in the congregation of the wicked.")
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Who rose from the dead? No one rose from the dead in this story. They both stayed where they were, in Abraham's bosom and in the grave. But Later Jesus rose a man named Lazarus from the dead in John 11 and later Jesus Himself rose from the dead. But neither time were the Pharisees Persuaded!
The Lazarus from John 11 is NOT the same Lazarus in the story. (The dead do not see anything. Eccles.9:2-10. Notice in Eccles.9:2-10, that it mentions both the wicked and the righteous). Jesus chose to use Lazarus' name so they could learn a lesson when the real Lazarus rose. He also used the name because it had connections to a famous gentile servant of Abraham! The Lazarus that rose very soon after Jesus spoke of this ancient Babylonian fable, is not the SAME Lazarus of the story. But Jesus inserted Lazarus' name into this ancient fable because HE knew that HE was about to raise Lazarus and prove his point!
Jesus was telling the Pharisees that even in their own stories/fables, there was no hope for them if they refuse to believe the Law and the Prophets (the true spiritual purpose of) and the Witness of People Rising from the dead. The Pharisees could not learn from their own stories and they could not learn from real life events either! 2 Tim.3:7, 2 Cor. 3:16

John Lightfoot was a man who lived in the 1600's and was an expert on the Jewish Babylonian Talmud. Although the Talmud was not written until the 1400's, the fables of the Talmud were well known even before Jesus' birth.

Quote from http://wesley.nnu.edu/fileadmin/imported_site/biblical_studies/parables/ma-lk16_19-31.htm "This is the Egyptian folk-tale of the journey of Si-Osiris, the son of Setme Chamois to the under-world, which concludes with the words: ‘He who has been good on earth, will be blessed in the kingdom of the dead, and he who has been evil on earth, will suffer in the kingdom of the dead.’ Alexandrian Jews brought this story to Palestine, where it became very popular as the story of the poor scholar and the rich publican Bar Ma’Jan. …[In a dream] the fate of these two men in the next world was seen: ‘A few days [after both men were buried the poor scholar was seen] in gardens of paradisal beauty, watered by flowing streams. Bar Ma’jan the publican was seen standing on the bank of a stream and trying to reach the water, but unable to do so (Hultgren 183)". UNQUOTE.

E. W. Bullinger in the Bullinger's Companion Bible says QUOTE: "This commences the second part of the Lord's address to the Pharisees, against their tradition making void God's word as to the dead, which may be seen in Pss.6:5, 30:9, 31:17...... It is not called a parable because it cites a notable example of the Pharisee's tradition which had been brought from Babylon. See many other examples in Lightfoot, vol.xii, pp. 159-68. Their teaching has no structure". UNQUOTE.

J. F. Witherell wrote in his 1843 book "Five Pillars in the Temple of Partialism Shaken and Removed", QUOTE: "It may be proper to remark in this place, that this story was not original with the Saviour, but was simply used by him to illustrate his subject. The story was probably familiar to his hearers and our Saviour for that reason took occasion to make a practical application of it. In "Paige's Selections," we find the following from Dr. Whitby—"That this is a parable, and not a real history of what was actually done, is evident
(1) Because we find this very parable in the Gemara Babylonicum whence it is cited by Mr. Sheringham, in the preface to his Joma.
(2) From the circumstances of it, viz. The rich man's lifting up his eyes in hell, and seeing Lazarus in Abraham's bosom, his discourse with Abraham, his complaint of being tormented with flames, and his desire that Lazarus might be sent to cool his tongue; and if all this be confessedly parable, why should the rest, which is the very parable in the Gemara, be accounted history!" UNQUOTE.

Many other references to prove that the Story of Lazarus and a Rich Man is only an ancient fable can be found at http://www.truthaccordingtoscripture.com/documents/death/the-rich-man-and-lazarus-dawson.php#.Vn3kj_krLIU
If you pray and fast about Luke 16 and Lazarus, GOD will confirm to you that it was only a Babylonian fable that Jesus was using against the Pharisee's own false doctrines. You cannot ignore all the evidence that I have presented on this page!

Objection: Why does the bible say we are seated in heaven with Christ?
ANSWER: Eph. 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus"
i ask you, ARE YOU IN HEAVEN? NO, of course not! You are on earth. But i AM seated in heavenly places spiritually here on earth, a have authority, i am a representative of the Heavenly Kingdom, but i am NOT in Heaven! "HATH RAISED US UP..." Have you been resurrected yet? NO. ONLY in the SPIRITUAL SENSE. This is very clearly taking spiritually, NOT about us going to heaven when we die. Don't take it out of context!

Objection: Who are the 24 elders in heaven?
They could be angels or they could be humans that have already been resurrected when Jesus died in Matthew 27:52. Which in itself proves again that the saints were not in Heaven already. The 24 elders are a mystery. Even if the elders are human, that does not mean that every saint goes to Heaven at death. These saints in Matthew 27 were resurrected. We won't be resurrected until Jesus returns. That is very clear in Matt.24, 1 Thes. 4 and 1 Cor. 15 and the book of Revelation.

Objection: Christ entered hell and preached to the spirits in hell in 1 Peter 3:18-19.
ANSWER: NO HE DID NOT!!! Look at how verse 19-20 are connected. For one thing, it does not say "hell", it says "prison". It is saying that Christ/GOD worked thru Noah and that Noah went into the prisons during the 120 years between the time that GOD told Noah to build the ark and the time that The Flood came. GOD moved in Noah to preach repentance in the prisons and in his region, to forewarn the people and give them a chance to repent. Many more could have entered the Ark with Noah and his Family. GOD is merciful. GOD waited 120 years for more people to repent. But they were all disobedient. 1 Peter 3:18-20 is ALL about GOD working thru Noah. Period.

Objection: Dreams, Visions & Near Death Experiences of Heaven and Hell.
When a person has been brainwashed their entire life with their religious beliefs of heaven and hell and then that person comes to the point of death or near death or traumatic event, the mind & brain have a way of dreaming up imaginations to correspond with what they are going through. Also, the devil can implant dreams and visions to keep the person under deception as well as to use that person to then go evangelize these deceptions. The devil wants to keep everyone deceived into thinking that everyone is given different treatment in time allowed to get right, that GOD tortures sinners for all eternity and that there is no need for resurrections, that you just go immediately to your reward, instant gratification. Also interesting to note, is that everyone sees THEIR religious version of heaven and hell. They don't all see the same thing. The Hindu sees the Hindu version. The muslim sees the muslim version. The christian believer sees the popular version that they have been taught and brainwashed with. We cannot go with just dreams and visions. We must go with the written Word of GOD.
One of the most famous stories of a boy that came back from Heaven was a lie. He now admits it and now confesses that it isn't biblical. See his story at http://christiannews.net/2015/01/16/bestselling-book-pulled-by-publisher-as-boy-who-came-back-from-heaven-recants-story/

Objection: The 24 Elders were in Heaven BEFORE Jesus was on the cross.
ANSWER: You would have to prove that to me. i don't see anything saying they were already there. Even if so, we have no proof they are human. And if humans, who have been resurrected, That does not mean ALL humans have been going to heaven without resurrection. IF the elders are the people from Matt.27, then they are firstfruits of the the early rains. We do not have our harvest yet.

Objection: What about Elijah and Enoch? They went to Heaven?
ANSWER: No, Elijah and Enoch are NOT alive in Heaven. Please visit this link to learn more.

However, It is true that the Saints will temporarily enter Heaven for a period of ONLY 45 days for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of GOD. Please read the 1335 days Revealed article.
